Ingredients

For the Batter
  • 1 cup flour Use all-purpose flour for a light and airy pudding.
  • 1 cup milk Whole milk adds creaminess and richness.
  • 1 1/2 cups Burnbrae Farms Egg Creations! Cheese & Chive Infuses the puddings with savory cheesy goodness.
  • 1/4 cup oil Canola oil or fat from roast beef for crispiness.
  • to taste salt and pepper Enhances the flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 450˚F.
  2. Add the oil to the muffin tin and place it in the oven until it starts to smoke.
  3. While the oil is heating, combine the flour, milk, Egg Creations, salt, and pepper in a blender or use an immersion blender until smooth.
Baking
  1. Carefully remove the hot muffin tin from the oven and evenly distribute the Yorkshire pudding batter into each cup, filling it about halfway.
  2. Place the tin back in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the puddings are golden brown and puffed up.
  3. Once done, let them cool for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Carefully take the puddings out and place them in a bowl lined with paper towels to absorb some excess oil.

Notes

Use cold ingredients for extra fluffiness. Don't open the oven during baking to prevent deflation. Experiment with different cheeses or herbs for variations.
