Garnishes & Extras
  • 1/3 Cup Chopped Parsley for garnish, optional
  • 1 Can Chickpeas for protein
  • 4 Tbsp Chili Crisp for a spicy twist

Method

Preparation
  1. Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large, lidded saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, ensuring it doesn't burn.
  3. Add ditalini pasta and stir for about 1 minute to absorb the oil.
  4. Pour in the vegetable broth, add salt, and pepper. Cover and cook for about 2 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Uncover the pan, stir and check the pasta. Continually stir in 30-second intervals until al dente, adding more broth if needed.
  2. Once al dente, remove from heat and stir in cream, butter, and cheese until well combined.
  3. For a spicier version, add chili crisp, chickpeas, and extra cheese.
Serving
  1. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Watch garlic closely to prevent burning. You can toast the pasta in oil for added flavor. Feel free to adjust cream and butter for desired creaminess.
