Method
Preparation
- Remove the striploin steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes.
- Trim any excessive fat around the edges if desired.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 5-10 minutes.
- Rub both sides of the steaks with canola oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Place the seasoned steaks inside the air fryer basket and cook for 10-14 minutes, depending on desired doneness.
- For medium-rare, cook for 10 minutes; medium calls for 12 minutes, and for medium-well, go for 14 minutes.
- Use a meat thermometer for accuracy—130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium, and 150°F for medium-well.
Garlic Butter Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine the room-temperature salted butter, finely minced garlic, and fresh chopped parsley.
- Mix well until all ingredients are fully integrated.
Serving
- Once done, remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Slice the steak against the grain and serve with a generous dollop of garlic butter on top.
Notes
Adjust cooking times based on steak thickness and be aware of carryover cooking. Experiment with different herbs in garlic butter for unique flavors.
