Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3 pieces potatoes Soft and creamy, providing a hearty base.
  • 1 piece apple Sweet and juicy, adding a refreshing crunch.
  • 2 pieces carrots Vibrantly colored, offering natural sweetness.
  • 3 pieces pickles Tangy and crispy, adding a delightful bite.
  • 2 pieces eggs Rich and protein-packed, bringing creaminess.
  • 1/2 can peas Tender and sweet, ensuring colorful bites.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Creamy and rich, tying all the flavors together.

Method

Preparation
  1. Peel the potatoes and carrots, then chop them into large chunks. Place them in a pot of boiling water. Simultaneously, boil the eggs in a separate pot.
  2. Once the potatoes and carrots are fork-tender, drain the water and let them cool down. The eggs should also be boiled until hard-boiled, approximately 10-12 minutes.
Chopping Ingredients
  1. Once everything has cooled, chop the boiled potatoes and carrots into small cubes, about the size of a pea. Do the same with the apple and pickles.
Mixing
  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped potatoes, carrots, apple, pickles, and canned peas.
  2. Gently mix in the mayonnaise along with a pinch of salt. Stir until all the ingredients are well coated.
Chilling
  1. For the best flavor, let your salad stand in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully.

Notes

For an added crunch, consider adding diced bell peppers or celery to the mix. Fresh herbs like dill or parsley can elevate the flavors even more. If you want a creamier salad, feel free to add more mayonnaise or even a dollop of Greek yogurt for a nutritious twist.
