  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese Provides a sharp and nutty flavor.
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Melts beautifully to bind the filling.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by placing the Hawaiian rolls in a buttered 9×13" baking dish. Cut two slits into the top of each roll, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. Stuff the slits with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped parsley, and minced garlic. Whisk until evenly combined.
  4. Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over the cheese-stuffed rolls.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the rolls for 9-11 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the tops are golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the garlic butter. For a heartier meal, layer cooked chicken or ham between the rolls before adding cheese. Experiment with different cheeses for variations.
