Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 16 ounces boneless, skinless chicken breasts about 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt adds creaminess to the coating
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese provides robust flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder adds aromatic flavor
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoning salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and ground pepper. Mix well until it forms a smooth and creamy mixture.
  2. Using a spatula, spoon, or butter knife, spread the yogurt mixture generously onto the chicken breasts, ensuring they are evenly coated on both sides.
  3. Remove the air fryer basket and lightly spray it with nonstick cooking spray to prevent the chicken from sticking.
  4. Place the coated chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket, taking care not to overcrowd it.
Cooking
  1. Set the air fryer to 380°F and cook for 15 minutes. Flip the chicken halfway through the cooking time.
  2. Once the cooking cycle is complete, check the internal temperature of the chicken with a meat thermometer. It should register at least 165°F at the thickest part.
  3. If it’s not done, continue cooking until the chicken reaches the proper temperature.
Serving
  1. Serve the cooked chicken immediately. Pair it with a fresh green salad, garlic mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.

Notes

For added moisture, consider brining the chicken in a saltwater solution before coating. For extra crunch, add a layer of breadcrumbs to the yogurt mixture. Adjust seasonings to taste.
