Preparation
- Ensure your pizza dough is completely thawed and at room temperature. Soften the stick of butter for easy mixing.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened stick of butter, 4 minced garlic cloves, and finely chopped parsley. Mix well and set aside.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll your pizza dough into an oblong shape, aiming for uniform thickness.
- Spread the garlic herb butter evenly over the pizza dough.
- Starting from one short end, carefully roll up the dough tightly into a log and seal well.
- Chill the rolled dough in the freezer for about 10 minutes or in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- While the dough chills, melt 2 tablespoons of salted butter with one minced garlic clove in a small pan over low medium heat.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- After chilling, remove the log from the freezer and cut it into 8 equal pinwheels.
- Lightly oil the air fryer basket and place the pinwheels inside, spacing them out.
- Brush the tops of the pinwheels with the melted garlic butter.
- Cook the rolls at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 13 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Be sure to oil the air fryer basket to prevent sticking. Monitor the cooking time as air fryers may vary.
